Review:
I heard a lot of buzz going around about this book on twitter so i decided to read it. I knew it would be good but not THIS GOOD, it blew me away leaving me with no regrets. It's absolutely stunning, purely magnificent! Alone the cover drew me in but the summary was so interesting it left me wanting more. I felt a magnetic pull pulling me in the book each time i read it, Courtney is a genius!

Ellie is a ordinary girl by day, but kicks evil butt during the night. After her seventeenth birthday everything changes. She now has to face dangerous, deadly, and gruesome creatures called the reapers who would do anything to get their hands on her. The only way to defend herself is by awakening her powers. The way Ellie takes on the reapers are amazing, she's brave and very talented. Trust me she's a girl you wouldn't want to mess with.

Will is to die for, he is not only strong but Ellie's fierce protector. He always has Ellie's back and comes to help her if she seemed troubled. Together they kick ass and are unbeatable. I adored how Will would do anything to keep Ellie safe under any circumstances, and how he is so over protective at certain times, its just so sweet. Will is like Ellie's knight and shinning armor.

More kick-ass characters are introduced in this book as you go on, but since i don't want to spoil everything for you i'll end here.

Angelfire is a wonderful debut, I'm looking forward to reading more about it and i hope i get to know the charaters more better in the next book. If you’re looking for a book with tones of action, amazing kick-ass characters and creatures that will send chills through your bone, then i suggest this is the perfect book for you.

I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars!

Reveiw: Shatter Me By: Tahereh Mafi

SHATTER ME : ( Shatter Me #1)
By: Tahereh Mafi

Summary:
Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. As long as she doesn't hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don't fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war-- and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she's exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

"In this electrifying debut, Tahereh Mafi presents a world as riveting as The Hunger Games and a superhero story as thrilling as The X-Men. Full of pulse-pounding romance, intoxicating villainy, and high-stakes choices, Shatter Me is a fresh and original dystopian novel—with a paranormal twist—that will leave readers anxiously awaiting its sequel."

 Review:
Intriguing, electrifying, compelling, and breathtaking. Shatter Me was beyond anything i ever expected it would be, it was just so fascinating to experience. Tahereh Mafi's writing was absolutely beautiful, you would say poetic even. The world she created was so unique.. so fresh. It was terrifying, tragic, and different. I absolutely loved it! The story was so believable it felt like i was actually living there. Shatter Me will leave you speechless!

Juliette is a strong well built character. Shes been known as an outcast to everyone since she was a child, her parents wouldn't even touch her. No matter how the kids treated her at school Juliette always had a kind heart to help them out and to forgive them of what they had done to her. Things has gotten really hard for her after she had been locked up in the government facility for 264 days, yet Juliette was always so brave and full of hope.

Then there's Adam. At first Adam was a jerk even tho Juliette was constantly nice to him he would still treat her with disrespect. His bad attitude has caused Juliette a great distaste for him but who knew it was all just a show. Turns out hes actually super sweet, caring, and very very attractive. Adam will capture your heart from the beginning to the end.

One of the characters i loved the most in this book was Kenji. Ah Kenji, when he comes into the book he would always lighten up my mood, hes just so funny. I loved how he would joke around about Juliette and make compliments about her that would make Adam so crazily mad at him. I hope we will get to see more of him in the next book!

Lastly there's Warner the cruel, powerful, and evil bad guy. There's something about him that makes me feel so drawn to him but i just don't know what. In some scenes i just felt so sorry for him and wanted to be on his side but then the others just made me want to rip his head off. As we get to know Warner better maybe we'll find out what caused him to be so cruel.

Shatter Me is full of surprises, and romance that will leave you begging for more! I just fell in love with this book on the first page and for sure you will too. This book is a must-read!

Review: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Obsidian: ( Obsidian Lux #1 )
Published By: Entangled Publishing
By: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Summary:
Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

 Review:
Usually I'm not a fan of reading about Aliens but once i heard about how amazingly good this book was i had to read it, and let me tell you this has been the best decision i ever made. After reading the first chapter of Obsidian i couldn't let go of the book it was amazing literally i absolutely loved it! Each and every page of Obsidian was filled with goodness. Jennifer L. Armentrout has weaved such a beautiful story together combining romance, excitement, and humor making this book so thrilling to read. Shes taken Aliens to a whole new level! After reading Half-Blood i fell in love with Jennifer's books instantly she's full of surprises, i cant wait to read all her books!

All of the characters Jennifer created are all so amazing that you would fall for them instantly.

I loved everything about Katy starting with how controlled she is when Daemons near and how she doesn't fall for him so easily. I admit i was pretty impressed on how strong Katy was after all the bad news she had come across, i mean having to move to West Virginia right after she figured out her father had died is pretty tough. Katy would be a perfect row model.

To tell you the truth i loved Daemon in this book. Yea he can be a total jerk sometime but hes actually a really sweet guy if you got to know him better. Its actually pretty funny how he can be the worlds biggest ass at one moment but then the next he could be extremely caring and sweet.

Dee is just so fun she gets along with everybody. Shes always looking on the bright side of things and is always so enthusiastic. What made me laugh was how she tried to get Daemon to get along with Katy i must say those were my favorite parts.

This was my first book i ever read about Aliens and let me tell you it was spectacular! I cant wait to read Onyx! Trust me you would fall for this book instantly!

But that safety proves fleeting when rogue forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. If Charlotte loses her position, Tessa will be out on the street and easy prey for the mysterious Magister, who wants to use Tessa's powers for his own dark ends.  Review:
Okay first of all Clockwork Prince was amazing i absolutely loved it! I was immersed into its pages through the beginning to the ending devouring each and every word. The book kept me up for hours i couldn't sleep, it was my addiction. I must say Cassandra Clare is one of the most amazing fantasy authors I ever known. Her writing is beautiful , mysterious, and breathtaking it leaves you wanting more.

Tessa is brave, funny, and smart. No wonder Jem and Will would fall for her, shes everything a man could wish for. Tessa still doesn't know what she is but is slowly discovering bits of information on her own and through her brother Nate. Instead of being a proper good little girl like she always is Tessa changes it up.

Will on the other hand is beautiful, hot and sexy. He plays a jerk in most of the novel but hes actually a pretty sweet guy the way he treats Jem is admirable. With the help of Magnus Bane Will discovers the truth about his curse and how it isn't the way it seems.

Jem is sweet and caring to everyone. Hes always there for Tessa during the painful times always comforting her, and constantly smiling at her. In this novel Jem has become a braver and stronger young man, protecting Tessa through their journeys together.

New characters have been introduced in Clockwork Prince and there are still many mysteries to solve. This book is dripping with excitement! If you haven't read this book yet I suggest you get on it now.

I rated it 5 out of 5 stars!
